Rainboots and sunshine? – Augusta, Ga family photographer

We just KNEW it was going to rain Saturday evening but guess what? We were pretty excited about it! The family went out and bought rainboots, a raincoat and umbrella all for fun rain pictures. What happened? We had NO rain…just beautiful blue skies and lots of sun. Lol! We just went with it and had fun anyway. We even pulled out the gear at the end for fun. Thank you for spending some of your weekend with me and choosing me to photograph your adorable family! I look forward to the maternity, birth and newborn session! Eek…I am beyond estatic for those! Firsts – Augusta, Ga child photographer

First off, my big boy started pre-k today! How in the world did that happen…he was just born?! Of course I had to take a few pictures this morning to capture the big day. Here is my handsome fellow.

Second, the pictures we have been working on hanging in Oakbrook (one of the awesome Bradley Schools) are finally beautifully displayed! Just in time for the first day of school. This is the first establishment I have had my work displayed in…working on another now. Take a peek!

Rain, rain, go away – Augusta, Ga child photographer

I was actually excited to see that a rain storm went through downtown before our session. I think it cooled it down a bit…thank goodness! Although thunder rumbled throughout the session, we only felt a few drops which honestly felt great. Miss B is two years old and we know two year olds have their own agenda. Miss B is no different. Her agenda last night was to stay away from me and my camera. Lol! She had a blast walking around and discovering her surroundings so we went with it. What else can you do?! Big brothers, H and Z, did an awesome job playing with B and showing their modeling skills. It was so great to finally meet you B family! Here is your sneak peek.

Nine month old cutie patootie! – Warner Robins, GA baby photographer

Mr. H has the sweetest smile…and thanks to daddy’s bee-bopping and dancing we saw many! If only I had pictures of him too. The weather gave us the run around for this session. Our original location for the session ended up being soaking wet due to hard rain but luckily mommy’s uncle has an amazing yard that we were able to use. It was beautiful. Thank you to them! It was awesome to see Mr. H again. Babies grow and change so fast. I love watching the progress. I hope to see you all again soon. Here’s your sneak peek!

My own maternity session – Augusta, GA maternity/pregnancy photographer

One of my dear friends and awesome photographers, Danielle Hobbs, drove through Augusta on her way to SC last Monday evening. We have been talking about my maternity session for a long time…I can’t believe we finally made it! I was 32 weeks and 3 days at the time of the session and I have to say that was late enough to wait. Now that I have been through pregnancy again, I remember how hard it gets later. Between 28 and 34 weeks is the best time depending on how you much you are showing.

The evening was so nice, lighting was gorgeous and my three boys (hubby, 4 year old and one in the belly) were just perfect for the session. We had a great time and want to thank Danielle for capturing this special time in our lives! We love each shot and will cherish them forever. We hope to see you soon at the birth!
