Firsts – Augusta, Ga child photographer

First off, my big boy started pre-k today!  How in the world did that happen…he was just born?!  Of course I had to take a few pictures this morning to capture the big day.  Here is my handsome fellow.:-)

Second, the pictures we have been working on hanging in Oakbrook (one of the awesome Bradley Schools) are finally beautifully displayed!  Just in time for the first day of school.  This is the first establishment I have had my work displayed in…working on another now.  :-)  Take a peek!

Pure – Augusta, Ga birth and newborn photographer

I just love how pure and innocent new babies are.  Births bring out so many emotions.  I believe that photographing a birth is the most amazing experience I have had.  Thursday afternoon the most precious baby girl joined the world.  Mommy had a c-section and everything went perfectly.  I joined the family as they waited to meet their newest member.  Sweet Bailey is some sort of cousin to my little guys…I can’t wait to see them grow up together.  I wanted to do something special for them.  I know how precious my birth pictures are and I wanted to pay it forward.  Here is the story of the afternoon…

Amy Newton - Beautiful!!! My favorites are when the Daddy first comes out with his daughter and he is so proud and so humbled. Precious. I think I see a Daddy’s girl already!! Makes me kind of ready for #3?!?!

Christina Anderson - Oh my goodness! Those pics of the Daddy holding the baby are absolutely priceless! They seriously made me cry….Great job!…and the baby is gorgeous too!

kimberly - I would LOVE to photograph your birth…they are so special and amazing. Perhaps my fave!

kimberly - Amy…#3?!?! Go for it! I have to admit that even though I was wearing Luke in a carrier at only 2 months old the day of the birth it gave me baby fever! Nuts! We are done though…unless God changes our minds. ;-)

Here she comes – Augusta, Ga maternity photographer

I was so excited to hear from the A family again.  I photographed the family when there were only 3 1/2 members (the lil’ guy was still in mommy’s belly). :-)  I absolutely love seeing families grow.  Apparently the 3rd times the charm is right…the A family will now be complete with a sweet princess!  Although it was 100 degrees outside during the session, I hardly noticed.  We had such a good time laughing at the boys and enjoying delicious Baskin Robbins chocolate ice cream.  Mommy has craved it throughout the pregnancy so we had to incorporate it!  Thank you for choosing me to photograph your sweet and beautiful family again.  Good luck in a couple of weeks meeting that precious baby girl.  I will be praying for her and your family.  Here’s your sneak peek!

Rain, rain, go away – Augusta, Ga child photographer

I was actually excited to see that a rain storm went through downtown before our session.  I think it cooled it down a bit…thank goodness!  Although thunder rumbled throughout the session, we only felt a few drops which honestly felt great.:-)  Miss B is two years old and we know two year olds have their own agenda.  Miss B is no different.  Her agenda last night was to stay away from me and my camera.  Lol!  She had a  blast walking around and discovering her surroundings so we went with it.  What else can you do?!  Big brothers, H and Z, did an awesome job playing with B and showing their modeling skills.  It was so great to finally meet you B family!  Here is your sneak peek. :-)
