Life – Augusta, GA photographer

I thought I would share the progression of the most amazing gift ever.  God is so good and He has blessed us with another son to care for and to teach to love Him.  Pregnancy is just beyond awesome to me…yes, it is very hard but still just awesome.  At this point, I am basically on maternity leave.  Luke hasn’t arrived yet but beings I am only 34 weeks and have been progressing quite a bit I feel it is best for my lil’ man to rest and let him cook longer.  :-)   The ultrasound tech said he is weighing around 5lbs and 3oz right now.  I figure if he can stay in at least 3 more weeks hopefully he will be a nice size and ready to join our family.  Who knows though…he could make it to 39 weeks!  Lol.  We have everything ready to go just in case.  His nursery is plain adorable to me.  We (as in I) did a beach theme for our little guy and it’s equipped with beach pails, crabs, fish and all the beach goodies!  His diaper bag is packed and my bag is out and kind of packed.  I am such a planner!  Here are a few pictures of his nursery and his ultrasound pictures.  We are so proud and excited to meet him!

My own maternity session – Augusta, GA maternity/pregnancy photographer

One of my dear friends and awesome photographers, Danielle Hobbs, drove through Augusta on her way to SC last Monday evening.  We have been talking about my maternity session for a long time…I can’t believe we finally made it!  I was 32 weeks and 3 days at the time of the session and I have to say that was late enough to wait.  Now that I have been through pregnancy again, I remember how hard it gets later.  Between 28 and 34 weeks is the best time depending on how you much you are showing.  :-)

The evening was so nice, lighting was gorgeous and my three boys (hubby, 4 year old and one in the belly) were just perfect for the session.  We had a great time and want to thank Danielle for capturing this special time in our lives!  We love each shot and will cherish them forever.  We hope to see you soon at the birth!

Cousins, a field and sunset – Augusta and Warner Robins, GA child photographer

We rented our house for the Masters so my son and I drove down to visit my mom (aka Mamaw) for the week.  While there we had the wonderful opportunity to visit with family and have a fun cousin photo session.  D and R are only 6 months apart in age and love playing together.  We went out to a gorgeous field and had fun just running, racing and playing…taking pictures  :-)   Here is the result!
