Birthday girl – Augusta, GA child and family photographer

I was contacted by a fabulous family in Florida looking to gift a session and prints to a family member up here in A-town.  What an awesome birthday gift!  K, mom, was having a very special birthday this year and her sister and father rocked it out by surprising her with the gift of memories!  K and P have three beautiful and active children.  The amount of energy 2, 5, and 7 year olds have amazes me!  We had a great time this evening…from jumping, balloons, lollipops and just hanging out.  The H family was so fun and up for anything.  Here is your sneak peek!  Enjoy!

Z & Z – Augusta, GA baby and photographer

Sunday evening was another hot one but in the shade it was doable.  Z and Z neither acted like they felt the heat at all.  Kids are amazing!  Brother is 3 years old and sister is 1 year old!  They are such precious children.  We chose a location that we thought would keep the kiddos contained a tad but didn’t think about how water attracts them.  Mommy caught little girl Z a split second before she took a head dive into a small creek…right at the beginning of the session!  Not to mention mosquitos…wow, I think we found their breeding grounds.  Oh goodness!  Even though we encountered some interesting moments the session was a blast and memories were captured.  Here is your sneak peek!  Enjoy!

Mini maternity – Augusta, GA maternity photographer

After my session with 8 month old S last night, I called my neighbor over for her mini maternity session.  We have been talking about snapping a few pictures since we found out she was pregnant.  I can’t believe the time was already here!  Daddy is getting very ready for this baby boy to arrive but his due date is still about 3 weeks out.  I am excited too…more newborn pictures to come!  Yay!  Here is your sneak peek!  Enjoy!

Isn’t she the cutest? – Augusta, GA baby photographer

Sweet S is 8 months old!  I have been fortunate to photograph S since she was a newborn.  She is just as precious as ever.  Our session this evening was the hottest so far this year.  Spring apparently has decided to leave us too soon.  With the weather in the 90s it made for a sticky sweaty session but S handled it very well!  I did learn that sessions need to be later than we began today.  Hopefully that will help the heat a tad!  Mom and I worked the whole session trying to get a picture of S’s two new bottom teeth…peek below and you will see that we finally got it!  Yay! I didn’t edit out the drool…that comes along with new teeth. :-)   Here is your sneak peek! Enjoy!

Country boy – Augusta, GA maternity photographer

I went home to visit my family for Easter weekend and while I was there I had a fun maternity session.  K and C are such a sweet and totally in love couple.  They are expecting a little baby boy soon!  Seth will be his name as you will see below.  Seth is going to come home to a UGA themed nursery and will be surrounded by total country boy items to include the precious tiny camo Crocs seen below.  So cute! 

Our session unfortunately had to be a little early in the evening due to a family dinner my mom was hosting. The dinner ended up being a surprise birthday party for me!!!  (Thanks Mom! Love you!)  The lighting was dappled all around us but we found some perfect spots to use.  It is so peaceful walking around my step-dads land.  K tried renting a room!  Lol. We had a great time and I can not wait to meet Seth at his newborn session.  Here’s your sneak peek…enjoy!
