Sherry and Russ – Wedding photography

Saturday was a beautiful day for a wedding at Henderson Village in Perry, GA (minus the gnats…for those who were there you know what I’m talking about).  I trust God in all of His creations but I do wonder about gnats.  Other than those pesky little guys, this wedding was perfect!  Sherry was a beautiful bride in a gorgeous gown.  Russ looked oh-so-handsome in his khaki suit and light blue tie.  These two are totally in love.  It was such an honor to see them join together with Lauren, Sherry’s daughter, in a new family.  Russ placed a precious monogrammed necklace on Lauren during the ceremony to celebrate.  Tears.  I wasn’t expecting the gift for Lauren and it touched my heart.

The day was wonderful.  All who attended celebrated with a delicious sit down dinner at the Langston House.  The couple exited the party by running through a line of sparklers held by loved ones.  Each detail came together so nicely.  Thank you for choosing KKP to photograph such a special occasion. (This was KKP’s first wedding as the main photographer!)  Here is your overly large preview.  :-)

James – Augusta, GA newborn photographer

I have been anxiously awaiting this baby’s session for months.  Mommy and daddy found out what they were having on his birth day…and it’s a boy!  A gorgeous baby boy with a head full of hair and beautiful skin.  What a doll!  James was 12 days old for our session and very much alert.  He didn’t want to miss a thing!  Thankfully the Baby Whisperer, aka Daddy, was there to lull him to sleep for a little bit.:-)  I enjoyed spending the afternoon with all of you!  Here’s your preview.

Little Miracles – Augusta, GA newborn photographer

With preview posts you only get to see a few pictures from a session.  I thought I would share a slideshow from Justin’s newborn session so you could see his full gallery.  Each session differs depending on baby’s sleep, eating schedule, and etc.  We work around each of those and accomplish the most beautiful memories from the first days of your sweet baby’s life.  They are only tiny for a little while, change so fast, and before we know it are walking around like big kids.  I cherish the photographs I have from my son’s sessions.  With them running around like mad men at 6 and almost 2, I find myself sitting down to look at those pictures and remember the feeling of their tiny bodies on my chest, little newborn sounds, and the pureness of a new life.  Ahhh, such beautiful times.

Amy - Beautiful!

Justin – Augusta, GA newborn photographer

What a sweet surprise baby Justin was for his mommy and daddy.  Having just had baby Jake a few months prior to finding out they were expecting again, it was quite a shock!  Talk about the best surprise ever. :-)  Big brother Jake was so interested in Justin during the session.  He was precious standing there touching and rubbing on Justin’s back.  We weren’t sure if we could even get 13 month old Jake to be in the same frame as Justin but luckily Jake decided to take it easy on us!  Of course, we had to stick baby brother in a fireman’s helmet since big brother did it at his newborn session too.  Thank goodness daddy didn’t have the flu this time!  Thank you for continuing to choose KKP as your photographer.  Here’s your preview!

Justin Connor Birth – Augusta, GA birth and newborn photographer

Yesterday I photographed my first c-section.  I was nervous about getting dizzy and passing out since it IS surgery.  However, when the time came, I wanted to move about the OR to capture all the shots.  Too bad I was stuck on a stool but I totally understand why.  Safety first!  I still was able to get the story of this sweet baby boy’s entrance sitting right where I was.  Welcome to the world Justin Connor! Born March 26, 2012. Weighed 7 lbs 8 oz and was 20 inches long.
